As of the 1st of April 2018 our two schools became the The Whiteoak Acadamies of Hannah More Infants and Grove Juniors and have become part of Lighthouse Schools Partnership.

Hannah More Infant and Grove Junior schools share the same site and have worked closely together for many years. The 1st March 2012 was a historic date marking the start of the formal partnership of the schools.

Hannah More started her first Sunday School in the nearby Tithe Barn in 1791 thereby providing the foundation for both schools. Hannah More wished to serve the local community in order “to benefit the Parish of Nailsea in its most important interest – the education of the rising generations” and this lives on 220 years later in the strong partnership established through the federation.

In both our schools we have enthusiastic pupils, talented staff, committed governors and supportive parents. We recognise that school days are such an important time for both children and their families and we always aim to ensure that every child feels happy, safe, secure and confident in their school life and is well equipped for the next stage of their education.
